Capabilities

BW specializes in heavy fabrication.  The dedicated Reilly Road facility includes two 10 ton bridge hoists and nine 5 ton bridge hoists.  We can even handle larger product with portable cranes.  Below are the capabilities of both the Reilly Road facility and the Sharp Iron Group's Hatton Road facility. 

BW and the Sharp Iron Group's key capabilities include:

Capabilities: Welding

BW Fabricators specializes in: mig, tig, spot, heliarc, stick welding on carbon and stainless steel.   We produce a wide variety of weldments such as truck chassis components, fuel tanks, water tanks, guards, pump manifolds and more.  The Sharp Iron Group also provides aluminum welding capabilities and have certified welders to both AWS and customer designed specifications.

Capabilities: Electro mechanical assembly 

The Sharp Iron Group has significant experience in assembling electro-mechanical assemblies typically found in electronic enclosures. DIN rail assemblies, value added electronic enclosure assemblies, wiring harnesses, hydraulics, and basic in circuit test capabilities are available to help reduce your throughput and allow you to focus on your core business.

Capabilities: Wet and Powder Paint

The Sharp Iron Group's wet and powder paint lines allow us to provide our customers with the right paint for their application. Whether it is just a prime coat or a smooth powder paint finish coat, Sharp Iron has the people and the facilities to meet your needs.  We have several paint booth's and our largest is a 100' x 50' facility with a 5 ton bridge crane.  We use carts for product that exceeds our hoist limits.
